BEST ANSWER: Hi, thank you for your inquiry. This item is designed to hold two monitors side by side in a horizontal (landscape) configuration. If you primarily want vertical stacking, a single tall pole mount might be more stable. I hope this helps.

No, you can't stack both monitors one above the other. You can easily rotate the monitors 90 degrees, but they can't stack vertically.

With the 180-degree rotation, does this allow you to turn one arm completely backwards? Meaning, if you had desks back to back. Could you use this mount to hold a monitor for each desk?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, thank you for your inquiry. The arms of these mounts are fixed in a forward-facing orientation. You cannot reverse one arm to serve a second desk behind it.

How low do the arms go? I am hoping to find a dual monitor mount that can clamp to the top of a rolltop desk and extend out and a little down. Also, how deep does the clamp need?

BEST ANSWER: The minimum height depends on the desk thickness and clamp position. But generally, the arms can extend downward enough to position monitors slightly below the clamp point. Clamp depth is usually 1.5 - 2 inches. I hope this helps.

I am thinking of purchasing this. However, the way my desk was built, I only have 1 1/2" of surface on the underside of the desk. Will the clamp work with this limited space?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, this is designed to fit on a standard desk thickness, and 1.5 inches of lip is insufficient. I hope this helps.

How low can the arms flex? I am trying to find a dual monitor mount appropriate for a rolltop desk, clamping to the top and extending forward and down a little to regular viewing height. Also, how deep of coverage does the clamp mount need?

Works better than my Ergotron
The comparable Ergotron product retails at $400 and doesn't come with quick release plates. This works awesome and the price point is way better.
